No Carbon Required – NCR Tech Paper
NCR stands for ‘No Carbon Required’, a great way of transferring information on multi sheet forms by Computer, pen or pencil. NCR can be company artwork customised, and is a great accessory out in the field to record information multiple times.
As a process, NCR Paper works by copying information from the Top sheet to each consecutive sheet with reactive clay and tiny particles of ink. Up to five sheets can be used with a colour range of white, yellow, green, pink and blue. NCR can be used in sets, pads, books and continuous sheets.

NCR Sets are glued together at the top in sets of up to five sheets and are boxed loose.
NCR Pads are sets glued together in one pad with a writing shield placed under the current set to protect the set below. Usually around 50 sets per pad that can be removed in sets once completed.
NCR Books resemble pads but these have one part of each set stapled into the book, bound with tape and the following sheets of each set are perforated so they can be removed from the book.
Continuous NCR are printed on a specific dot matrix printer, for continuous computer duplication of information. The NCR is on a constant feed through the printer with perforated holed margins and base. Once printed, each set can be removed from each other, via a perforation, along with the margins.
NCR can be crash numbered for filing requirements and are great for the office or field work as invoices, delivery notes, wage slips, purchase orders or sales orders. The Pads and books can also have covers and wrap around writing shields to protect sets.
